About QuaD-Rx TM
QuaD-Rx TM is a GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS and BEIDOU quad-constellation GNSS signal processing software IP-core module aiming at providing to your embedded systems all or part of the required functions which give to your systems the ability to provide or to take advantages of Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) services using Global Navigation per Satellite Systems (GNSS).
QuaD-Rx TM is an integral commercial offer including technologies and expert-based engineering services given the opportunity for electronic device manufacturers and integrators to step up their products in the value chain by integrating GNSS-based PNT technologies.
QuaD-Rx TM is designed to operate on current embedded platforms based on multi-core ARM processors and FPGA/SoC devices, and is natively packaged in order to integrate the production line and value chain of linux-based embedded systems.

A modular architecture based on unit IP-core modules
QuaD-Rx TM is the combination of about forty unit IP-core modules developed in ANSI-C C99 and VHDL IEEE Std 1076-2002 by Gnss IP.tech under the supervision of our lead IP architect, including advanced functionalities.
QuaD-Rx TM interfaces with external radio-frequency front-end devices including digitizers, and implements all or part of the GNSS digital signal processing chain from the I/Q input digital samples to the Position-Velocity-Time solutions provision in a modular way.

Thanks to a modular core design and to the availability of a rich library of unit IP-core modules, and thanks to the strong expertise on GNSS signal processing and embedded systems issues of our team, Gnss IP.tech will deliver you a tailor-made QuaD-Rx TM IP-core module perfectly matching with your needs, requirements and constraints, which minimizes the architectural complexity and computation load in order to offer added-value to your systems and products at an optimized cost.

Evaluation and development licenses
QuaD-Rx MD is available for evaluation or development purposes for Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC or Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ SoC embedded platforms (IP-core and Linux distribution for standard COTS boards), or PC (under Ubuntu/Debian or Windows OS), and compatible with COTS front-end devices whose provide I/Q samples by USB.
The Evaluation license consists in the delivery of the IP-core to be used as a « black box » standard GNSS receiver running into one of the compatible platforms (delivery: SD card image), while the Development license allows the customer to integrate the IP into his own systems (deliveries: VIVADO packed-IPs and pre-compiled C library).
Both licenses include IP updates and technical support from our team.

Graphical User Interface
QuaD-Rx MD is delivered with a dedicated Javascript-based GUI compatible with standard web browsers for real-time monitoring of the IP.

Available licenses
Licenses are proposed on a per-constellation and per-frequency bases, to perfectly match costs with needs :
- EVAL/F and EVAL/S : Evaluation licenses
- The IP is delivered ready to be executed on a compatible target execution platform (delivery of a SD card image), usable with a compatible RF front-end (as the SDR-RTL v3 USB dongle). The IP is locked to one target execution platform. Such licenses permit to evaluate the GNSS functionalities of the IP in a real-time context on real GNSS signals. EVAL/F is for the first IP instantiation, EVAL/S is for additional IP instantiations.
- 2 hours of support are included (for installation and operation).
- Upgrades and corrections are available during 1 year.
- DEV/F, DEV/S and DEV/NL : Development licenses
- The IP is delivered ready to be integrated into the Customer's system (pre-compiled C library, FPGA netlist and Packed-IP for VIVADO), usable with the RF front-end of the Customer. The IP is locked to one target execution platform in the cases of DEV/F and DEV/S licenses, while it can be instantiated without limitation in the case of the DEV/NL license. Such licenses permit to test the integration of the IP into the Customer system, and to operate the IP in production. DEV/F is for the first IP instantiation, DEV/S is for additional IP instantiations, and DEV/NL is for unlimited IP instantiations.
- 21 hours of support are included (for installation, operation, IP integration and configuration support).
- Upgrades and corrections are available during 1 year.
- FULL/IP : Full transfer + source codes
- The IP is delivered as C and VHDL source codes, ready to be compiled and integrated into the Customer's system, and usable with the RF front-end of the Customer. The IP can be instantiated without limitation. Such option permits to the Customer to take benefits of the overall property on the IP for his own operation and production needs, including the possibility to modify the source codes to adapt the IP to his needs.
- 70 hours of support are included (for installation, operation, IP integration and configuration support, IP customization support).
- Upgrades and corrections are available during 1 year.
